If you were stranded on an island, and only had one book you could read, what book would you have and why?

  2. Praise the Sun! Wasink delawn, I would rather have a journal to write in because I can write about my experience on the island, and when I get back to the mainland I can make money off it. ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL.

  3. If I was stranded on an island and I could only chose one book to read, I would have to pick Gone Girl. I would chose Gone Girl because it is a very intense book and I would need something to keep me interested and entertained.

  4. If I could take any book with me I would take 13 reasons why. The reason I would pick that book is the reason because it tells you about how a girl killed her self. Another reason is because it would give me an idea to write a book on reasons how to survive.

  5. If I was stranded on an island and I only had one book that I could read it would probably be the book I just finished reading called "Prisoner B-3087" It about this kid named Yanek, who goes through the holocaust. He describes everything that he went through to survive. Yanek made it through 10 concentration camps and survived.

  7. If I was stranded on an island and only had one book to read the book that I would choose is Flight 29 Down. It is a book about a plane that crash and their are a few people who survived but they are stranded in the island. That would be a good book to read since I would be in a similar situation.

  8. If I was stranded on an island I would choose to read Divergent. I would choose this book because it is an amazing book. This book kept my attention the whole time. It is very intense and you cannot put it down. In this book Tris chooses the path of the Dauntless which entails her to be with Four. As she struggles through the training she learns how to manipulate the training and get at the top of the ranks. This is called being divergent. Four is also divergent and when they discover they are very much alike they connect. Four and Tris try to save their world before it is destroyed rescue the people they love. In this funn-loving, intense, and suspenseful novel you can learn many great survival and life skills. So yes, this is the book I would choose to read as I am stranded on an island.

  9. I would choose the book Hatchet by Gary Paulsen to have with me because it is a book about survival. It is about a boy who is lost in the middle of nowhere and the only item he has is his hatchet. I would want to have that story because it may help me to get off the island, or just a good book to pass the time. It is one of my favorite books of all time.

  10. If i were to choose a book i think it would be very hard. I think I would choose Hatchet because of several reasons. I think it would help me survive by giving me some ideas he uses in the story. Also, I just really like the book because it is very entertaining. I like this book and the meaning behind it. I would think about several other books but Id choose this one more than likely.

  11. If I was stranded on an island, and only had one book to read, I would pick Hatchet. I think this would be a good choice, because It has a lot of ways on how the main character survives when he is stranded in the woods. It would give me ideas on what to do to get food, make fire and find shelter. It also is good to read about how even though he is stranded and doesn't know where he is at, he doesn't give up hope. It would make you more confident in seeing how he survived so you could do the same.

  14. If I were stranded on an island and only had one book I could read, I would choose The Hunger Games because in addition to being an exciting love story, it would offer multiple survive skills that I might be able to use for myself when put in that type of situation. One factor that makes it even more desirable to bring along to read is the point that it is apart of a trilogy, which therefore offers you the opportunity to imagine what the next set of pages will be about if you ever get off the island. The Hunger Games is a classic novel that offers different genres inside the story that works for every taste you might be feeling that day.

  15. Personally, I wouldn't care what book would be in my possession when I'm stranded on an island, but if I were to pick a book, it would be '13 Reasons Why'. I would pick this book because a friend recommended it to me and it sounded like a good book. If I were to bring a different it would probably be 'Deerskin'. I read this book half way through so it would be awesome to read the rest of the book while I have time on a stranded island.

  16. If I were stranded and I had to pick a book to have on the island, I don't know what specific book I would pick because I haven't read a lot of the books. I would be most happy to read a book that had Chinese text on one side and English text on the other. I would choose a book like this because I am Chinese, and would like to read a book from my own country. I would want the English on the other side so that I could learn English at the same time.
